Bestimmungen für den Beglaubigungsprozess

Als Repräsentanz des Ministeriums für Hochschulwesen beglaubigt das Kulturbüro der Botschaft Saudi-Arabiens in Berlin eine Vielzahl an Dokumente von Personen, die planen das Königreich Saudi-Arabien für Arbeits- oder Studienzwecke aufzusuchen.

Zu den zu beglaubigenden Dokumenten zählen:

Dabei ist die Beglaubigungsabteilung des Kulturbüros nicht nur für in Deutschland erworbene Dokumente zuständig. Auch Urkunden aus den folgenden Ländern werden bearbeitet:

Bevor jedoch die Dokumente vom Kulturbüro beglaubigt werden können, sind Vorbeglaubigungen notwendig. So benötigt das Kulturbüro unbedingt einen Stempel des Außenministeriums des Landes, das das zu beglaubigende Zeugnis ausgestellt hat. Dieser Stempel kann für deutsche Dokumente bei den Generalkonsulaten oder deutschen Botschaften oder beim Bundesverwaltungsamt (BVA) in Köln eingeholt werden. Für Zeugnisse aus den anderen Ländern des Verantwortungsbereich des saudi-arabischen Kulturbüros in Berlin sind die Vorbeglaubigungen direkt vom jeweiligen Außenministerium erhältlich.

Da diese Vorbeglaubigungen keine Gewähr für die inhaltliche Richtigkeit und Echtheit sowie die Vollständigkeit der zugrunde liegenden Urkunden beinhalten, ist die Beglaubigungsabteilung des Kulturbüros Saudi-Arabien zur Überprüfung der Urkunden verpflichtet.

Deshalb schreibt der Kulturattaché persönlich einen Brief an die ausstellenden Behörden mit den Kopien der zu beglaubigenden Zeugnisse und bittet um eine Bestätigung der Echtheit.

Der Beglaubigungsprozess nimmt somit mehrere Tage in Anspruch.

In den folgenden Fällen kann keine Beglaubigung vorgenommen werden:

Wenn Sie ein Arbeitsvisum beantragen wollen, informieren Sie sich bitte bei dem Provider VFS TasHeel unter https://www.vfstasheel.com/ über die weiteren notwendigen Unterlagen für die Antragstellung.

Außerdem ist es notwendig, dass Sie Ihre Urkunden im Konsulat der saudi-arabischen Botschaft legalisieren lassen. Hierfür müssen die Unterlagen über eine der akkreditierten Visa-Agenturen beim Konsulat eingereicht werden. Näheres erfragen Sie bitte bei der Beglaubigungsabteilung.

Conditions for the authentication process

As a representative of the Ministry of Higher Education, the Cultural Office of the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Berlin is authenticating documents from a variety of persons planning to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for work or study purposes.

These documents are:

The authentication department of the Cultural Office is responsible not only for documents acquired in Germany. Even documents from the following countries will be processed:

Before the documents can be certified by the Cultural Office, pre-certifications are necessary. Thus, the cultural office absolutely requires a stamp of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the institution of the country that issued the certificate. This stamp can be obtained for German documents at the General Consulates or German embassies or at the Federal Office of Administration (BVA ) in Cologne. For authentications from Documents which were issued in other countries in the area of the ​​responsibility of the Saudi Arabian Cultural Office in Berlin, the pre-certifications are available directly from the respective Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Since these pre-certifications do not include any liability for the accuracy and authenticity and the completeness of the documents, the authentication department of the Cultural Office of Saudi Arabia is advised to check the documents.

Therefore, the cultural attaché himself writes a letter to the issuing authorities with copies of the certificates to ask for confirming the authenticity.

If you want to apply for a work visa, you would need to contact the provider VFS TasHeel https://www.vfstasheel.com/  about the other necessary documents for the Visa application process.

Furthermore, it is necessary that you legalize your documents in the Consulate of the Saudi Arabian Embassy. For this purpose, the documents must be submitted to the Consulate by one of the accredited visa agencies. Please ask the Authentication Department for further details.
